SHORT-TERM OVERVIEW

DO YOU WANT TO STAND OUT? BE A SERVANT. IF YOU PUFF YOURSELF UP, YOU’LL
GET THE WIND KNOCKED OUT OF YOU. BUT IF YOU’RE CONTENT TO SIMPLY BE
YOURSELF, YOUR LIFE WILL COUNT FOR PLENTY. Matthew 23:11-12 (Message Bible)

Welcome to House of New Wine in AZUA, Dominican Republic. We welcome you with open
arms. To have a great experience during your stay, please come with the following mindsets:

Come as a laid down life of love.

Take the initiative to search for ways to love, work, and serve each day.

Plan on being as self-reliant as possible.

Be ready to take on menial tasks for the good of House of New Wine.

Come expecting miracles!

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!

THEN THOSE SHEEP ARE GOING TO SAY, ‘MASTER’, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING
ABOUT? WHEN DID WE EVER SEE YOU HUNGRY AND FEED YOU, THIRSTY AND GIVE
YOU A DRINK, AND WHEN DID WE EVER SEE YOU SICK OR IN PRISON AND COME TO
YOU? THEN THE KING WILL SAY, I’M TELLING YOU THE TRUTH WHENEVER YOU DID
ONE OF THESE THINGS TO SOMEONE OVERLOOKED OR IGNORED, THAT WAS ME….
YOU DID IT TO ME! (Matthew 25:37-40 (Message Bible)

Jesus has many family members in AZUA. They are poor financially and poor in spirit. This
Short-Term mission trip will give you opportunities to minister to Jesus by:

We are excited to see what God is going to do in your life through this mission trip. When you
hold a child, feed the poor, clothe the naked, bake a cake, or even make someone laugh you
have to know God’s heart is pleased. He brings heaven to earth thru a man or woman who
knows who they are in Christ. The kingdom is expressed, God is glorified, and unspeakable
joy abounds.

Trust God as your provider and protector on this trip. We serve in poverty stricken areas and
the conditions are unpredictable at times. House of New Wine does not guarantee your
comfort. Please know God is in charge.

AND JESUS SAID TO THEM, CAN THE FRIENDS OF THE BRIDEGROOM FAST WHILE
THE BRIDEGROOM IS WITH THEM? AS LONG AS THEY HAVE THE BRIDEGROOM WITH
THEM THEY CANNOT FAST. BUT THE DAYS WILL COME WHEN THE BRIDEGROOM WILL
BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM, AND THEN THEY WILL FAST IN THOSE DAYS. NO ONE
SEWS A PIECE OF UNSHRUNK CLOTH ON AN OLD GARMENT; OR ELSE THE NEW
PIECE PULLS AWAY FROM THE OLD, AND THE TEAR IS MADE WORSE. AND NO ONE
PUTS NEW WINE INTO OLD WINESKINS; OR ELSE THE NEW WINE BURSTS THE
WINESKIN, THE WINE IS SPILLED, AND THE WINESKINS ARE RUINED. BUT NEW WINE
MUST BE PUT INTO NEW WINESKINS. (Mark 2: 12-22 NKJV)

The family of God at House of New Wine desires to drink of the new wine, never looking back,
but continually pressing on with worship and praise to our King. We know He has given us the
city of AZUA. And we are excited that you have chosen to be a part of what He is doing in the
earth. Our identity is found in Christ and we know His promises are true. We know it takes one
man to turn a nation. All we said was: YES LORD, WE WILL GO!!!!!
